Alison's Story.

The turning point in my life.

In 2011, after years of stacked trauma, relentless stress, and what felt like a never-ending series of losses, I was handed a scary and "incurable" autoimmune disease diagnosis.

The prognosis? That I’d be severely disabled and in a wheelchair by 2016.

The conventional medical system offered me a label, medication, and instructions to prepare for decline. I was told there was no hope.

Little did they know, how wrong they would be.

My decision to go out on my own.

Something inside me knew better than to accept a disabling prognosis. This wasn't my fate. I didn’t want to "prepare for decline." I was going to live my life.

So I did the most radical thing I could.

I walked away from the norm. I turned inward. I listened deeply to myself.

My healing path.

I followed a path that made no sense to most folks. Some made fun of me. Some ridiculed me for questioning a doctor. Most people doubted me.

But, I felt called to investigate, to ask why and how this was happening to me. Driven by deep curiosity, I began to question the status quo of the conventional medical system. I reconnected with my intuition, and with what felt like a knowing that my body could heal, no matter what the doctors said.

So in the end, I didn’t heal by following orders. I healed by asking questions, doing research, and following my heart. By listening to my inner voice.

I also didn’t heal by fighting. I healed by going inward. By digging deep. By honouring the integration of mind, body, and spirit.

I healed by finding my own true north.

Now, I'm here to help others and share what I learned.

Now, more than a decade later and after a successful healing journey, I offer what I needed most back then: Hope. Tools. And a way to heal outside of the system that told me that I couldn't.

So, if you're standing at the edge of change, I see you.

Know that there is always hope.

Know that you're not broken. You're not failure.

You're just being called on a new journey.

And, you're not alone on it.

With love,
