Welcome to True North Wellness. We offer products, services, and resources created with intention — to support your healing journey, nurture your spirit, and help you return to your center.

Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before making a purchase. By ordering from our shop or booking a service, you agree to the policies below. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

Product Information & Disclaimers

Ring Sling Materials

Our slings are handcrafted using 100% linen — a natural, woven fibre made from the flax plant. Linen has a rich texture and may include nubs or slubs (slightly raised or uneven threads). These natural markings are part of the fabric’s beauty and do not affect function or safety.

Alterations

Any alterations made to your sling after purchase (e.g. tag removal, ring swaps, dyeing) are done at your own risk. True North Wellness is not responsible for damage, injury, or misuse that may result from alterations. We recommend working only with qualified professionals and ensuring all modifications meet safety standards.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel good about your purchase and supported in your journey. Please review our Return & Refund Policy for full details.

For ring slings:
If you notice a defect caused by shipping or manufacturing, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Products must be unused, in original packaging, and have all tags attached. Custom orders and altered slings are non-refundable.

Service & Booking Terms

All energy work, healing sessions, and intuitive guiding are held with deep care and preparation. Please provide 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

• Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice are fully refundable or can be rescheduled.

• Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows receive a 50% refund for the first occurrence.

• Additional missed appointments are non-refundable.

Unexpected situation? Reach out via email or text — we’ll do our best to support you with grace.

Personal Data & Privacy

When you place an order or sign up for services, we collect personal information (name, email, shipping address) to complete your transaction, fulfill your order, and optionally include you in our email community (if you opt in).

We use:

• Shopify to process payments

• ShipStation to ship orders

• Mailchimp for newsletters

• Stripe and PayPal for secure checkouts

Ring Sling Safety Guidelines

We care deeply about your safety. Please read and follow the instructions that come with your sling. Misuse or failure to follow guidelines can lead to injury or, in rare cases, death.

WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD

• Infants under 4 months are at higher risk of suffocation

• Keep baby’s face visible and clear of fabric at all times

• Avoid chin-to-chest positions that restrict airflow

• Reposition baby after nursing

WARNING: FALL HAZARD

• Always hold baby when bending or moving

• Check sling for wear or damage before each use

• Ensure knots, rings, and positioning are secure

• Only use with babies 8–35 lbs

• Never leave baby in a sling that’s not being worn

Additional Safety Reminders

• Do not use if you feel drowsy or unsteady

• Never wear while driving, cooking, or around heat sources

• Never use for more than one baby at a time
