I Ignored My Symptoms for Far Too Long
I had so many symptoms and I just ignored them for so long, until everything overflowed one day and I had no choice but to look at them.
I ended up in the hospital with some pretty scary news.
If I Could Change One Thing
If I could go back and change anything, it would be this: Pay attention to what your body is telling you.
Symptoms aren’t something to just quash. They’re not just a reason to reach for a painkiller or put a band-aid on the problem.
Symptoms Are Signals
If you have pain, there’s a reason. If you have anxiety, there’s a reason. If you’re depressed, there’s a reason. If your stomach hurts, there’s a reason.
It’s not just about taking Pepto-Bismol, Tums, Rolaids, Tylenol, or aspirin. There’s so much more to it.
The Key Is to Ask Why
If you have symptoms, look at why. Your body is talking to you. Don’t ignore the message.
Real healing starts when we stop masking symptoms and start getting curious about the root cause.
Ready to Start Listening?
Next time you notice a symptom, pause and ask yourself “Why?”
Get curious. Look for patterns. Listen deeply.
This is exactly why I wrote Healing Outside the System — to help people move beyond symptom management and start true root-cause healing.
